Another Day in the Office..
Blogathon Workspace, 6:30 AM
It’s been a pleasant half hour early morning drive to the workspace. It’s a nice open concept with views of the water and the mountains. Thank you so much, Workspace for letting us crazy blogathoners use your office today!
There a few other blogathoners here. They are a nice and friendly bunch – all furiously typing their way for the causes they are blogging for. Thank you to Rebecca Bollwitt and to Raul Pacheco for organizing this event and helping make our stay comfortable. A number of causes are represented here – Union Gospel Mission, Vancouver Food Bank, BC Children’s Hospital, United Way of Lower Mainland, BC Cancer Society and my charity Canadian Hard of Hearing Association, just to name a few.
Gus Fosarolli has been kind enough to compile the list in his blog post, and is cheering us on, as is Cathy Browne who is in Ottawa at the moment. So many others are supporting us as well, so thank you everyone!
It simply feels like another day in the office – only that I’ve woken up at 4:30 AM, feeling excited and unable to sleep much last night, got here at 6 AM and will be spending the day in the office for the next 24 hours. When was the last time you felt this excited about going to work? Which brings me to the next question..
